dirt tracks and rock and roll

so the killowatts trip was sweet. the drive to warensburge was HOT. we stopped at a sonic and had lunch and real fruit slushies, it was GREAT!! the mapquest rout from farmington had us take 2 lanes and state routs for more then half the trip, so that was interesting. we got there an hour early so we went to the dirt track (central mosouri speedway) that was having stock car races we pased 5 miles out of town and sat on top of the van and watched some racing for an hour. we also ate really good pizza at the bar across the street from the venue. we played with "hot like a robot" from LA who sounded like triple fast action kinda, and "the north atlantic" who I think scouts honor would do well with on tour (angular loud indie). there were only ten people at the show and we didn't make much money, but the bands were all cool bands and people, the promotor was cool and the time was good. we played as a three piece with marsha and tyson switching off between bass and guitar. that was strange, but we got used to it by the end and rocked it hard! sean brandt came along and did merch so that was fun too.

we drove home after the show instead of staying the night cause we figured it had been sooo hot it was better on our comfort and the van itself to drive overnight. between tysons energy drinks and caffine pills and marshas insomnia we did just fine. the scariest part was after we dropped tyson off and I was driving home, I almost killed me and marsha and sean by running off the road into a bridge 2 miles out side of brimfield, but i didn't. so we are good. we got home at like 9 am!!

the drummer from man or astroman added scouts honor on myspace. I am honord by that!!
